Hey there! It's such a pleasure to meet you.

My name is Samantha-Jean and I've been writing for well over 10 years. I initially started my journey with Creative Writing in high school before leaping into English Literature in college. As a student, I worked for a pet care company in my area as a ghostwriter for blogs on top of managing their social media accounts, posting blurbs, advertising with Canva graphics and even reaching out to local businesses for collaborations to host competitions!

Animals have been my whole life. It's extremely rare to not hear the sound of pawsteps making their way through my house. I've raised reptiles, cats, dogs, horses, cows, chickens, and even pigs. This background is what got me into the pet industry to begin with, and in the past three years I've worked professionally as a dog walker, pet sitter, daycare attendant and a Puppy School teacher for basic obedience and socialization!

I have years of experience in writing and researching for pet blogs, running the social media accounts of pet-oriented businesses, communicating with clients about their pets, scheduling meetings, filling out pet profiles, writing weekly & monthly newsletters as well as managing emails.
